  It was fantastic to see Maureen and Sapphire today. We haven't seen our little blue girl since she was a about 5 months old so we got one hell of a big welcome. Sapphire is Rah's litter mate and one real cutie, who I think shows a lot more common sense than her sister!Maureen made us a great lunch while the girls got reacquainted in the back yard. I forgot how well the two of them got along... They really do look very much alike although I did have coat envy as Sapphire managed to get her daddy's beautiful draped coat and wonderful colour, very nice crisp blue and dark black. She did pick up her mum's habit of reaching out and touching you with her paw when she wants some attention. The girls had a great time running up and down the beach at Half Moon Bay. It was a beautiful spot in the world and the first time I have been there. Rah was funny, she ducked her head right under the water like she does at home in the pool. I was surprised because I thought she may find the salt water unpleasant however it didn't seem to bother her. |
